Privacy

This page describes what Amplify Barbershop collects when you book an appointment, why, and what happens to it. It is deliberately short, because we collect deliberately little.

What we collect

When you book, we ask for and store:

• your name
• your email address
• your phone number, if you give one — it is optional
• any note you choose to add for your barber
• the service, barber, date and time you chose, and the price

That is the whole list. We do not ask for a date of birth, an address, or anything else, and there is nowhere on this site to enter them.

Card payments

If you choose to pay online, you are sent to Stripe’s own payment page to enter your card details. Your card number never touches this website — there is no card field anywhere on it. We receive back only a payment reference and whether the payment succeeded.

Stripe is the payment processor and handles your card data under its own privacy terms. If you choose to pay at the shop, no payment information is collected online at all.

Cookies and tracking

This site sets no advertising or analytics cookies, and there are no third-party trackers, pixels, or embedded social widgets on it. The typefaces are served from this site rather than from a font network, so loading a page does not reveal your visit to anyone else.

The only cookie this site ever sets is a sign-in session for shop staff using the private admin area. You will never be given one.

Email

We email you a confirmation when you book, and a confirmation when you cancel. Those are the only emails you will get. We do not run a mailing list and will not add you to one.

Who can see it

Your booking is visible to shop staff through a password-protected admin area, so your barber knows who is coming in and can reach you if something changes. It is not sold, rented, or shared with anyone else, and it is not used for advertising.

How long we keep it

Appointment records are kept so we know your history with the shop — which barber you saw, what you had done. If you would like your record deleted, ask us on (510) 374-8635 and we will delete it.

Your choices

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. California residents have these rights under state law, and we apply them to everyone who asks rather than checking where you live first.
